Full detail on all Services
Consultation & Holistic Goal Setting
We offer consultation sessions focused on understanding the whole child and family, clarifying priorities, and developing meaningful, achievable goals. This service supports families to make informed decisions about therapy and next steps, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, sustainability, and education regarding evidence-based intervention options.
Goal-Directed Occupational Therapy
We provide time-limited, goal-directed therapy focused on specific functional outcomes identified in partnership with families. Intervention is regularly evaluated using outcome measures (such as the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure – COPM) to ensure therapy remains effective and meaningful.
Goal-directed therapy focuses on intensive, specific activities that are modelled within sessions and carried out in the child’s home and community environments. Sessions are typically weekly or fortnightly and usually include a structured home program. Parent coaching is embedded throughout therapy, supporting families to confidently implement intervention into everyday routines. Focusing on one to three goals at any one time is central to this approach, supporting clarity, progress, and sustainability.
Cerebral Palsy–Specific Intervention
We provide specialist intervention for children and young people with cerebral palsy, with a focus on upper limb function and participation. Intervention is delivered through evidence-based, goal-directed therapy and may include, but is not limited to:
Bimanual training
Modified Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy (mCIMT)
Pre- and post–Botulinum toxin assessment and intervention
Intervention is carefully planned to align with each child’s goals, capacity, and family priorities.
Assessment Services
We provide individualised occupational therapy assessments to support child and family priorities. This may include developing a deeper understanding of a child’s strengths and areas of difficulty, providing assessment feedback to tertiary medical services, or completing assessments to guide intervention planning.
Specific assessments we provide include:
Cerebral palsy–specific assessments (including AHA, HAI, and Mini-AHA), as well as classifications (Mini-MACS, MACS)
Upper limb musculoskeletal assessment
MAT evaluation and postural assessment to support access to specialised equipment
Motor-based assessments
Task analysis and functional skill assessment
Handwriting assessment
Environmental assessments (home, school, or community)
Assessment summaries and reports can be provided as required. We strongly value multidisciplinary assessment and intervention and work collaboratively with allied health professionals, educators, and medical providers to support coordinated, meaningful outcomes.
Assistive Technology (AT) – Supportive Seating & Mobility
We provide assessment and prescription of assistive technology to support participation and function, with a focus on:
Supportive seating (including indoor seating and strollers)
Early powered mobility
Switch-accessible toys and devices
This service is intentionally limited to ensure high-quality assessment, appropriate follow-up, and meaningful collaboration with families and other providers. We have limited capacity to support wheelchair prescription at this time; however, we are happy to discuss individual needs and assist with appropriate referrals where required.
Service Scope
Our practice focuses on assessment, goal-directed intervention, and consultation for children with neurological and physical conditions.
I do not currently specialise in behavioural intervention or autism-specific therapy. I also do not provide Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA). Where services outside my scope are required, I am happy to discuss needs and assist families with appropriate referrals.
